About us

A Miami University team building for Ohio hospitals

FluentPRN is built by four students at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. We are building one product: on-screen guidance that helps hospital staff use new clinical software with confidence.

Why we started

[Replace with your story: the conversation, experience or class project that started FluentPRN.]

In our interviews, the same pattern came up again and again. Hospitals invest in good software, then staff learn it from a short class weeks before go-live and a phone number for a super-user who is usually busy. We want the help to be there at the moment it is needed.

How we work

Close to our customers

Most of Ohio’s health systems are a short drive from Oxford. We would rather spend an afternoon with a nurse educator than guess at what training looks like on a unit.

Safety before scale

Every walkthrough is approved by a person before staff see it. We are building security and patient data protections in from the start, not adding them later.

Clear about where we are

FluentPRN is in active development and has no customers yet. We will always tell you plainly what works today and what is still being built.
